Plan holes, grooves and joint fit together. Specify hole positions, groove widths and joint clearances with the finished panel thickness and hardware. Mark the visible face, grain direction and exposed edges so the parts arrive ready for the assembly and finish you have planned.
CHOOSE THE FORM YOUR WORKSHOP NEEDS

Plywood processing services for panels and repeat parts.

Choose the starting point below, then keep material, machining and finishing on the same part list. You can request one operation or a combination; we confirm the supplied form and included work in your factory quotation.

Cut-to-Size Plywood

Sheet sizes and straight-cut parts for your next process.

Specify panels, blanks or strips with finished dimensions, quantity, grain direction and the edges that need to stay visible.

To get started: Part sizes, thickness, quantities and cutting direction.

CNC Plywood Components

Profiles, holes and grooves that belong to the same drawing.

Bring outlines, bores, pockets and joint details into the plywood order, with reference faces and the fit your assembly needs.

To get started: Drawing revision, profiles, hole positions and tolerances.

Edge Banding & Finishing

Edges and surfaces prepared around the finished part.

Choose exposed plywood, decorative edging or a protective treatment with the face finish, joint and service conditions.

To get started: Visible edges, edging material, finish and final dimensions.
CUT FOR THE NEXT PROCESS

Order the cut sizes your workshop needs.

Plan full panels, rectangular blanks or strips around final part dimensions and quantities. Mark face grain, reference edges, visible sides and any allowance for later trimming. Keep a cutting list with each part reference rather than combining different pieces under one total sheet count.

Blanks or finished sizes

State whether the dimensions describe the blank, the machined piece or the finished edged part. Include squareness, edge appearance and the tolerances needed for paired components. Keep edging and coatings in the dimensional basis.

Direction and usable material

Keep grain or decor direction with each piece. A cutting layout includes the cut width and any trimming, while narrow strips and thin parts need support and protective separation. Compare usable parts, processing and waste together when choosing the sheet format.

Cut-to-Size Plywood: sizes, cutting lists & packing

KEEP EACH FEATURE WITH ITS FIT

Custom plywood components start with a shared drawing.

Request outlines, drilled holes, pockets, grooves and cut-outs with the panel construction and finished thickness. Identify the presentation face, measurement datums, hole-entry face and the hardware or mating part. Include handed pieces and matching sets so geometry and appearance stay together.

Profiles, bores and joints

Give profile dimensions, hole diameters and positions, pocket depths, slot widths and internal radii. Show joint clearance and the fitting that each hole or groove receives. For through-cuts, specify the appearance needed on both faces and the exposed edge.

Specify the fit your assembly needs

Define important tolerances and how the part will be measured. Actual thickness, flatness, work holding, material condition and later finishing belong in the requirement. We agree the processing and dimensional checks for your geometry rather than offering one accuracy figure for every part.

CNC Plywood Components: features, fit & order details

For routing, drilling, corners, forming or laser-material questions, use Plywood Cutting & Forming. The order identifies the actual machining and supplied parts.

CHOOSE THE FINISHED EDGE

Match edge banding and finishes to the panel and its use.

Decide which edges remain exposed plywood, receive decorative edging or need a specified protective treatment. Include the edging material and thickness, colour or veneer match, adhesive, corner details and surface finish. Name every edge on the drawing, including those concealed after assembly.

Appearance and final dimensions

Choose visible edges with the face veneer, laminate or coating. Identify flush trimming, edge profiles and the finished size after edging. Keep matching parts and edge positions on the same part reference.

Exposure and later machining

Describe wetting, cleaning and service conditions. Decorative banding and moisture protection are different requirements; joints, holes and site trimming also need the specified treatment. Agree which finish and edge operations are completed before shipment.

Compare Surface & Overlay Options and Moisture & Water Resistance when selecting the complete finish.

SELECT THE PLYWOOD FOR THE PART

Choose faces, core and finish around machining and assembly.

The cutting drawing and panel specification belong together. Visible furniture edges, concealed cabinet parts, decorative panels and protected packing parts can need different constructions. Start with the surfaces, joints, weight, fixings and intended environment, then choose the plywood.

MAKE THE PART LIST USEFUL

Drawings and part lists for custom plywood components.

Give the information you already know. A dimensioned drawing and part list help our factory quote your custom plywood components on a consistent basis. Identify any design detail you need help completing; our team will arrange the drawing information needed for the next step.

RequirementWhat to includeWhy it matters
Part identity and quantityPart reference, drawing revision, quantity per part, matching sets and repeat-order schedule.Connect each component to its material, features and package label; keep handed or mirrored parts distinct.
Panel constructionFace and core, bond, finished thickness, surface or coating and required product documents.Choose the plywood around machining, visible edges, hardware and the conditions in which the part will be used.
Finished geometryUnits, length and width, profiles, holes, pockets, radii, depths and reference faces.Distinguish the cut blank from the finished part and identify the features that must fit together.
Grain and appearanceFace grain arrows, visible face, matching components, colour or decor direction and exposed edges.Keep appearance through cutting and nesting instead of choosing a layout only for material yield.
Fit and measurementImportant tolerances, datums, hardware details, mating parts and the stage at which dimensions are measured.Keep panel thickness, hole locations, joint clearances and finished-part dimensions as separate requirements.
Edges, finish and deliveryEdging or sealing, coating, labels, protective packing, quantities and the destination.Allow for material added by finishing and agree which operations are completed before shipment.

Start with the use, sizes, quantities and destination in the Contact enquiry. A brief part description is enough to begin; our team will arrange the drawing details with you when needed.

CHECK WHAT THE NEXT OPERATION NEEDS

Agree dimensional, appearance and fitting checks before production.

Identify the important dimensions, measurement references, visible faces, cut-edge condition and hardware fit. Specify the inspection arrangement and any physical assessment of a machined detail before repeat production. Keep those checks with the same material and drawing revision.

Your quotation identifies the supplied panels or parts and the agreed checks. For an assembled or installed item, specify the supports, hardware, assembly and complete-product tests you need, and agree whether those are included. Use Quality & Inspection, Standards & Certifications and Shipment & Receiving Inspection for the order documents and checks.

FROM OUR FACTORY TO YOUR WORKSHOP

Keep parts, protection and delivery in the same order.

Labels, matching sets and protective separation help your team receive the correct pieces and prepare them for assembly. State quantities per part, pack grouping, visible-face protection and the destination. Packaging must support the actual geometry, finished weight and edges.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Parts, drawings and factory orders

Questions about ordering processed plywood.

What plywood processing services can I include in a factory enquiry?

Start with cut-to-size panels or blanks, CNC profiles and holes, edge banding or sealing, and the finish your parts need. CUZI PLY manufactures the plywood and quotes the supplied panels or components with the operations agreed for your order. Send the material, part sizes, quantities and destination; we help complete the cutting and finishing requirements.

What do you need to quote custom plywood components?

Give a part list and drawing revision, units, finished dimensions, thickness, construction, grain direction, profiles, holes and important tolerances. Add visible faces, edging or coatings, hardware and quantity per part. Identify whether you need blanks, processed components or parts that your workshop will finish or assemble.

Can I start without a complete cutting drawing?

Yes. Send the intended use, material or finish, dimensions, quantities and destination in the Contact enquiry. Describe the shape, holes and fit you already know. Our factory team will help identify the remaining specifications and arrange the drawing details needed for a quotation and production.

Should my dimensions be before or after edge banding?

State the finished part dimensions and identify any blank dimensions separately. Mark the edging material and thickness, the edges covered and the final face finish. Cutting, machining and edging then use the same dimensional basis rather than different assumptions.

Is machine accuracy the same as finished plywood part tolerance?

No. Finished-part dimensions also depend on the plywood, actual thickness, flatness, work holding, finishing and measurement condition. Put the important tolerances and reference faces on the drawing. The quotation and production requirements identify the checks for your construction and geometry; there is no single tolerance for every plywood part.

Can you keep grain and matching parts together?

Mark the face grain, visible surface, handed pieces and matching sets on the part list. Keep the same information through nesting, machining, labels and packing. Include any veneer, decor or colour matching requirements so the material layout balances appearance and usable yield.

Is decorative edge banding the same as moisture protection?

Not necessarily. Choose the edge material, adhesive and treatment for the panel and its use. Newly cut holes, joints and later trimming also need the specified protection. State wetting, cleaning and finish requirements for the complete part rather than ordering only an attractive edge.

Does buying machined plywood mean buying a complete tested cabinet or installed component?

We quote the panels or processed parts, dimensions, finish and operations included in your order. For an assembled or installed item, identify the hardware, supports, assembly and complete-product tests you need; the quotation states whether those are included. Describe the finished item and the work you want our factory to provide.

Do you offer local walk-in cutting or same-day collection abroad?

CUZI PLY manufactures in Linyi, China. We quote factory production and delivery to your named destination. Order quantities, processing, protective packing and transport are planned together; this is different from a local retail cutting counter or same-day collection service.

How are minimum quantities, prices and production times confirmed?

They depend on the panel construction, part mix, processing, finish, quantity and delivery requirements. We confirm the material and supplied parts, included operations, any preparation or tooling, packing and delivery terms in your quotation. Production time and transit time are identified separately.

Can I assess material or a processed detail before a repeat order?

Yes. Describe the plywood, thickness, finish, edge, joint or machined feature you want to assess, with the destination. We confirm availability, any preparation, sample and courier costs, and dispatch arrangements. Agree any production-part checks or project tests separately.
