Spruce plywood panels with light wood faces and clean layered cut edges
Spruce plywood for sheet cutting and components

Plan the usable face, trimming and grain direction around your cut list. Agree the finished thickness, edge quality and surface preparation for parts that fit your assembly.

Buy the board your cut list needs.
YOUR FACE AND INNER VENEERS

Specify spruce where your component needs it.

Choose the surface for the finished appearance and the inner veneers for the complete part. Spruce plywood panels can use a spruce face, spruce inner veneers or spruce throughout; the layer arrangement, bond and dimensions are specified together.

Spruce face, selected core

Choose a spruce surface for the sides that will remain visible. Specify the inner veneers around cut edges, joints, hardware and handling. A covered back can have a different appearance requirement from the front.

For your enquiry: Visible sides, spruce face grade, inner species or mix, permitted repairs and intended finish.

Spruce veneers throughout

Specify spruce in the outer and inner layers, with the veneer arrangement and finished thickness chosen for your part. Agree face and back grades, core gaps, repairs and bond together rather than comparing only the species name.

For your enquiry: Species in each layer, ply arrangement, face/back grade, finished thickness and service conditions.

Spruce core, another face

Use spruce inner veneers beneath another specified face. Choose the outer veneers and surface preparation for the finished appearance, and name the inner construction separately for machining and assembly.

For your enquiry: Face and back material, spruce inner veneers, balancing, finished thickness and exposed edges.

BUY FOR THE FINISHED JOB

Spruce panels for interiors, furniture and packaging.

A painted lining, covered furniture back and working crate need different priorities. Tell us how the component is assembled, handled and used; we help choose the board and processing around the result you need.

Interior linings & painted panels

Choose the face preparation for what remains visible after coating. Include joints, routed edges, holes and the back where it remains in view, then set the board thickness around the installation and fittings.

For your enquiry: Visible sides, paint or coating, knots and repair allowances, finished edges, support and fixing positions.

Choose panels for interior components

Furniture backs & covered components

Put usable sheet area, finished fit and machining ahead of a premium face when the surface will be covered. Specify thickness, flatness, reference edges and hardware so the parts work in your assembly.

For your enquiry: Part layout, dimensions, joints, holes, hardware, tolerances and the surface that will be covered.

Compare furniture component requirements

Crates, cargo panels & packing covers

Select the construction around the cargo, panel spans, handling and fastening layout. Compare sheet yield and part quantities alongside face allowances, and plan protection for the journey and any intended reuse.

For your enquiry: Cargo and case design, spans, fixings, handling, stacking, exposure, reuse and destination.

Plan panels for your packaging

Specified roof, wall & floor panels

Start with the structural product and properties named for your project. Specify the supports, panel direction and fixings alongside the grade and bond, with the applicable product documents for the complete board.

For your enquiry: Project use, product standard, required properties, support spacing, panel direction, fixings and exposure.

ORDER IN THE FORM YOU USE

Full sheets, component sets or machined parts.

Make the cut list part of the order. We agree usable dimensions, finished thickness and the requested processing, then pack and identify the sheets or parts for your team.

Full sheets for your cutting plan

Choose a format that fits your parts, grain direction and equipment. Include trimming and the usable face area when comparing sheet yield, and specify the dimensions and flatness your team needs for processing.

For your enquiry: Part layout, face-grain direction, trimming allowance, finished thickness and handling size.

Cut-to-size component sets

Order the required quantities by part rather than only a total sheet count. Agree length, width, reference edges and grain direction, then identify the parts in bundles for assembly and repeat purchasing.

For your enquiry: Part names, dimensions, quantity by part, tolerances, grain direction and bundle labels.

Machined parts ready for assembly

Specify holes, profiles and edge preparation from agreed reference edges. Match the board thickness and finish to joints, hardware and fitting positions, with protection for the surfaces that will remain visible.

For your enquiry: Reference edges, hole centres, profiles, edge quality, joint fit, finish and quantity.

Choose the face for the finish you make

Compare paint, clear coatings or applied facing on the chosen spruce surface, including knots, repairs, hole exits and cut edges. Agree visible-side requirements and back preparation before ordering repeat parts.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Spruce panels, parts and orders

Questions before you order spruce plywood.

What is spruce plywood?

It is plywood made with spruce veneers in the face, core or throughout. Specify which layers use spruce, the other veneers if any, face and back grades, layer arrangement, bond and finished dimensions. Our quotation identifies the complete board you will receive, not only its surface material.

Does a spruce face mean the whole core is spruce?

Not necessarily. A spruce face can be used over selected inner veneers, and spruce inner veneers can be covered by another decorative face. If you need spruce throughout, state it explicitly. Cut edges, joints, hardware and machining help determine the right inner construction for your component.

How do I choose between spruce and pine plywood?

They are different softwood material choices. Compare the named species, visible surface, inner veneers, finished dimensions and processing around the same part. Grain, knots, repairs and the appearance after finishing matter for visible work; product properties and applicable documents matter for specified building work. Our Softwood and Pine pages help compare these purchasing requirements.

Where do you manufacture spruce plywood?

CUZI PLY manufactures plywood in Linyi, Shandong, China, with 10 production lines across our plywood range. We are your factory and direct supplier for the named face and core construction. Timber origin and any required sourcing information are stated separately from our panel manufacturing location.

Can I use spruce plywood for furniture and interior linings?

Yes. Describe the component, visible sides, finish, support and fittings. Choose face and back grades, core, sanding, edge preparation and finished thickness around your assembly. For paint or clear coatings, compare the finish on knots, repairs and cut edges as well as the main face.

How should I specify the appearance grade?

Name the grading system and what each side may show. Agree knots, patches, repairs, open defects, grain and colour with the intended finish. A visible front and a covered back can have different requirements. Keep these appearance requirements with the chosen board for repeat orders.

Can you supply spruce plywood sheets, cut parts and machined components?

Yes. For full sheets, send the cutting plan, usable format and face-grain direction. For parts, include dimensions, quantity by part, reference edges, holes, profiles and tolerances. We quote the board and requested processing together, with part identification and protection for packing.

Which thickness and sheet size should I order?

Start with the finished thickness, tolerance and part layout. See Sheet sizes for regular and made-to-order formats, and include trimming, grain direction and handling limits. Length and width can be made to your needs. We agree your dimensions and tolerances with the selected construction and processing.

Is spruce plywood always a lightweight panel?

Compare the finished panel mass rather than relying on the wood name. Inner construction, veneer arrangement, thickness, size and moisture condition all matter. Give us the handling or component-weight requirement and the dimensions so we can define an appropriate board and the mass information for your order.

Can spruce plywood be used for structural roof, wall or floor panels?

Use the structural product specified for the project. Send the panel standard, required properties, support spacing, panel direction and fixing requirements so we can identify the applicable construction and documents. A spruce face or all-spruce core alone does not provide structural design values; start with our Structural Plywood range for this use.

Can spruce plywood be used outdoors?

Choose the complete board and protection for the service conditions. Agree the bond, wetting and drying, coatings, cut edges, holes and joints. Exterior siding or treated work has additional requirements, so use the relevant product range rather than selecting by spruce appearance alone.

What affects the price of spruce plywood sheets and parts?

Face and back grades, inner veneers, thickness, bond, dimensions, machining and quantity all contribute to the quotation. Compare the cost of usable parts as well as the price per sheet: trimming, grain direction, permitted defects and cutting layout affect how many finished components you obtain. We state the quoted unit, processing and packing so you can compare equivalent supply.

Can you supply repeat orders of spruce plywood components?

Yes. Keep the agreed board construction, part list and drawing revision with your reorder. Tell us about changes to the finish, fittings, dimensions or quantity mix so we can confirm the processing and packing. We agree minimum quantities and a production schedule for your mix before order confirmation, with shipping transit stated separately.

How do I get a spruce plywood quote or sample?

Send the use, face/core requirement, size and thickness mix, processing, quantity, destination and target date. Your quote states currency, price unit, packing, payment and delivery terms. For a sample, name what you need to evaluate and the delivery country; we agree suitable pieces, any sample and courier costs, and dispatch arrangements before sending them.
