CUZI PLY laser-cutting plywood is produced for models, displays, educational products, packaging inserts and precision components. Choose lightweight pale poplar, birch-faced balanced core or all-birch construction in 3–12 mm, with 6–10% moisture, calibrated thickness, controlled glue lines and flat full-support packing. A representative cutting coupon records cut-through, kerf, edge colour, residue, minimum feature and engraving result on the buyer's machine. Export prices range from USD 580–1,150/m³ according to construction and inspection level.

Poplar Light-Cut reduces density and cutting load for pale, lightweight parts. Birch-Faced Balanced Core combines a controlled birch face with a selected balanced core for visible work. All-Birch Precision uses cross-banded birch veneers throughout for higher stiffness and a fine visible edge.
Face density, local fibre, core joints, glue-line chemistry, actual thickness and conditioning influence cut-through, kerf and edge colour. Select the programme that matches the drawing, part size, stiffness and appearance requirement, then confirm the result with a representative coupon.

Choose a low-density pale panel when cutting load, weight and economical sampling lead the decision.
Choose a birch visible face with a balanced core when engraving contrast, appearance and cost must be held together.
Choose an all-birch higher-ply construction when stiffness, edge appearance and repeatable fine parts set the acceptance criteria.
Nominal thickness is paired with an agreed actual range, conditioning state, measurement pattern, instrument and sample count. Initial targets are ±0.20 mm at 3 and 4 mm, ±0.25 mm at 6 mm, ±0.30 mm at 9 mm and ±0.40 mm at 12 mm. The selected sample confirms the target for the ordered construction and thickness.
Flatness is checked after agreed conditioning: initially no more than 4 mm/1000 mm for Poplar Light-Cut, 3 mm/1000 mm for Birch-Faced Balanced Core and 2 mm/1000 mm for All-Birch Precision. Thin panels stay fully supported from inspection through packing and unpacking.

Programme-specific targets can include low visible smoke, a clean light-brown edge, consistent kerf and one-pass cutting. The order identifies construction, thickness, machine, optics, air assist, extraction, coupon and accepted result so repeat production starts from the same inputs.
Laser processing uses machine-matched extraction, filtration, air assist and fire monitoring. The operator follows the equipment instructions and workplace controls for the selected material, thickness and production volume.
The coupon combines longitudinal and cross-grain lines, internal and external contours, three hole diameters, a narrow bridge, small part, sharp corner, engraving levels, glue-line crossings and a dimensional datum. The process image shows the selected material and cutting setup together, while the completed sample record contains the measured results.
State the machine and source, rated output, lens/focus, bed/support, air assist, extraction, speed, power, passes, panel construction, actual thickness, condition and lot. Compare cut-through, top/bottom kerf, edge colour, residue, glue spots, local flare, back marking, minimum detail, dimensional change and part flatness with the required result.

A suitable panel combines a known face species, balanced veneer construction, thin uniform glue lines, controlled actual thickness, stable flatness and a representative cut coupon. The coupon confirms cut-through, kerf, edge colour, residue, fine features and engraving contrast on the selected machine before repeat production.
Poplar is pale, lightweight and generally lower-density. Birch-faced balanced-core plywood combines a consistent visible birch face with selected poplar or combi veneers beneath it. All-birch uses cross-banded birch veneers through every ply for higher stiffness and a fine visible edge.
Start with part stiffness, minimum feature, bed support and machine capability. Three millimetres suits fine lightweight parts; four millimetres adds modest stiffness; six millimetres demands more cut energy and makes glue-line and core variation more influential. Confirm nominal and actual range with the same drawing coupon before production.
Machine source, rated output, lens, focus, bed, air assist, extraction, material density, glue, actual thickness and drawing geometry all influence the result. We use the buyer's nominated machine and a representative coupon to record the speed, power, pass count and accepted cut or engraving result.
Glue chemistry, spread and continuity alter the energy needed at each veneer interface and can create darker points, residue or local flare. A clean-cut glue line is therefore selected and checked across more than one core position. The reference coupon crosses multiple plies and glue lines so the result represents the full panel construction.
Yes. Programme-specific orders can target smoke-free or low-smoke visible processing, a clean light-brown or char-free edge, consistent kerf and one-pass capability. The result is matched to the agreed construction, thickness, machine, optics, air assist, extraction and coupon, and is reconfirmed when a controlling input changes.
Thin panels are conditioned, measured on full support and packed flat on a base at least as large as the panel. Initial programme targets are stated per 1000 mm after the agreed conditioning. The buyer should keep the pack supported, equalise the panel to the processing environment and avoid leaning loose sheets before cutting.
Run a new representative coupon when the species, core supplier, lay-up, glue, actual thickness, face finish, machine, lens, extraction or critical drawing detail changes. Compare the new cut-through, kerf, edge colour, residue, fine features and engraving result with the production requirement.
EN 717-1/E1 or a buyer-nominated emission method can be supplied for the ordered panel construction. FSC or PEFC documents are available for covered transactions with matching material records. Machine extraction and workplace air controls are specified separately for the buyer's laser process.
