Birch Plywood Configured by Face, Core and Machining

CUZI PLY birch plywood combines a selected birch face with the core construction required for the finished component. Choose birch-faced poplar or combi panels for value-led furniture, calibrated hardwood-combi construction for repeat cabinetry and CNC work, or a high-ply all-birch option for visible edges and precision parts. Available in 3–40 mm, with face grade, moisture, density, bond, tolerances, machining and export packing stated in the quotation.

SAMPLE SELECTION

Select the birch face together with the complete core construction.

The sample set compares birch-faced poplar, calibrated combi and high-ply all-birch constructions for different appearance, weight, edge and machining requirements.

Three construction options

  • Birch-faced utility for painted or laminated furniture
  • Calibrated export panels for repeat machining
  • High-ply all-birch for visible edges and precision parts
BUYER SPECIFICATION

Specify the visible face, concealed core and finished component together.

  1. Visible face

Which face grade, colour range and permitted repairs suit the final finish?

State the face/back grade and approve a physical surface sample under the intended finish.
  2. Core construction

Which core provides the required weight, edge appearance and fixing performance?

Choose poplar, combi, hardwood, eucalyptus or all-birch and record the full veneer sequence.
  3. Machining

Which cutting, drilling, routing and exposed-edge operations will be used?

State the tolerances and check the selected construction on a representative first component.
  4. Finish and edge

Will the panel be clear-finished, stained, painted or overlaid, and will the edges remain visible?

Match sanding, colour range, repairs and edge treatment to the finished component.
FACE & CORE SPECIFICATION

Define the edge quality before cutting and machining begin.

A complete order states the face and back grade, core species, veneer sequence, ply schedule, permitted repairs, gap limits and approved appearance.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Before the purchase order

Birch plywood questions.

How is the core identified under a birch face?

The quotation states the birch face and back together with the selected poplar, combi, hardwood, eucalyptus or all-birch core. It also records the veneer sequence, ply schedule, edge appearance and permitted gaps or repairs.

Which core can be used under birch faces?

Poplar, combi, hardwood, eucalyptus and all-birch options can be configured. Weight, edge appearance, fixing, tolerance and cost determine the appropriate option.

How does this Birch Plywood range differ from Baltic Birch Plywood?

This range includes birch-faced panels with selectable poplar, combi, hardwood, eucalyptus and all-birch cores. Baltic Birch is a separate all-birch substrate option identified by its mill specification, lot, ply construction and processing requirements.

Which tier suits recurring CNC work?

BIR-B normally starts recurring CNC comparison; BIR-C adds a precision or all-birch option where exposed edges, first-article control and tighter calibration justify it.

Can 1525×3050 mm Birch Plywood be supplied?

Yes. This format is made to order in BIR-B and BIR-C after the construction, flatness, sanding, handling and packing requirements are confirmed.

How are 1220×3800 and 2100×2800 mm Birch Plywood supplied?

These long and wide formats are made to order in the BIR-C construction. The quotation confirms lay-up, flatness, sanding, full-panel handling, packing, loading quantity and destination unloading requirements.

Can Birch Plywood be prepared for clear finishing?

Yes, subject to the selected face grade, colour range, sanding reference, repair allowance, approved sample and finish trial.

What information is needed for a Birch Plywood quotation?

Send the face/back grade, core species, bond, emission requirement, size, thickness, tolerances, machining drawings, edge treatment, finish, quantity, packing, destination and required product documents.
